When I came upon the pallid meadow
at the top, magnetic north,
of our windy whirling world,
you were cloaked with pearly fur,
you were twirling, arms out-stretched.

I sat down inside the snow
and watched you reel our quiet globe.
I saw the sound that God could make
with human motion concentrate.

You didn't notice I was there
(your eyes were given up to prayer)
and I just sat and shined my compass
as the needle twirled along.

Franny and Joey Gurba being good to ourselves. Lyrics are from an old love poem Joey wrote for Fran.

(stole that beautiful photo, can't remember who from, feeling sorry.)
